About Us
Since 1960 the D'Youville Life & Wellness Community has been an integral part of the physical and cultural landscape of Greater Lowell. Founded in 1960 by the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa, D'Youville has earned the trust of the community and the respect of its peer organizations for providing area seniors with superior care. We provide a continuum of care to meet the changing needs of seniors:
- Short-stay rehabilitation and transitional care
- Specialized Alzheimer's and other dementia-related care
- Long-term nursing care
- Hospice care
- Assisted Living and Memory Care Assisted Living at the Saab Residence
- Independent living at Bruyere Gardens, our affordable housing community
D'Youville is led by a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about their vocation and who share the vision that the Sisters of Charity had in creating a place where Greater Lowell's aging population could be cared for with compassion and dignity. D'Youville recognizes that the whole person needs care – that the spiritual self is permanently entwined with the physical self and, as such, should be nurtured and sustained with the same attention as would be given to the body. Each person who comes to D'Youville – whether a resident, client, tenant, or employee – is supported in this way, with respect, dignity, and compassion.
